This page provides a quick guide to the KT-LCD10H electric bike display, including basic controls, settings, error codes, compatibility checks, and the complete PDF manual.

The KT-LCD10H is designed for compatible KT controller systems. Matching the voltage alone does not guarantee compatibility. Before replacing a display, also confirm the controller brand, communication protocol, connector type, pin layout, cable arrangement, and original system settings.

Important compatibility reminder: Do not order a replacement display only because both displays are marked 24V, 36V, or 48V. A display can have the correct voltage but still use an incompatible controller protocol, connector, wiring order, or cable system.

KT-LCD10H Compatibility Checklist

Check What to Confirm Why It Matters
Controller Your bike uses a compatible KT series controller. The KT-LCD10H is not a universal display for all electric bike controllers.
Voltage 24V, 36V, or 48V system, together with a compatible KT controller. Voltage compatibility alone does not confirm communication compatibility.
Connector Choose the correct 5-pin SM plug or 5-pin waterproof plug version. Different connector versions cannot normally be connected directly.
Waterproof cable system Confirm whether your bike uses the compatible 1T4 waterproof main cable. The waterproof display option may depend on the matching cable harness.
Original settings Record wheel size, speed limit, P parameters, C parameters, and L parameters before replacement. Incorrect settings may cause inaccurate speed, poor assistance, throttle problems, or abnormal battery indication.
Mounting and cable length Compare the bracket, handlebar position, connector location, and cable length. A compatible electrical connection may still be difficult to install if the cable or mount is different.

Basic KT-LCD10H Button Controls

Power On or Off

Press and hold the center SW button to turn the display and compatible controller system on or off.

Change Assist Level

Use the UP and DOWN buttons during normal operation to change the assistance level.

Walk Assist

Press and hold the DOWN button to activate the walk-assist function where supported and correctly configured.

Backlight and Headlight

Press and hold the UP button. The bike headlight will only operate if the controller and wiring system provide a compatible lighting output.

Change Display Information

Press the center SW button briefly to cycle through trip, speed, voltage, temperature, and distance information.

Enter Basic Settings

Within approximately five seconds after startup, press and hold UP + DOWN together for about two seconds.

Common Settings in the KT-LCD10H Manual

The full manual includes general settings plus P, C, and L parameter groups. Do not copy random parameter values from another bike, because the correct values depend on the motor, controller, speed sensor, PAS sensor, throttle, battery, and wiring system.

Setting Group Examples Use Caution When Changing
General settings Maximum riding speed, wheel diameter, metric or imperial units. Wrong wheel size can make speed and distance readings inaccurate.
P parameters Motor characteristics, wheel-speed pulse signal, assist control mode, throttle startup, battery monitoring. These values must match the motor and controller system.
C parameters PAS sensor selection, phase coding, throttle function, controller current adjustment, backlight, cruise and password. Incorrect values may affect assistance, throttle behavior, current output or startup.
L parameters Additional system and controller-related settings. Leave these unchanged unless you know the correct value for your controller setup.
Before changing parameters: Photograph or write down every original value. Changing settings without a record can make troubleshooting much harder.

KT-LCD10H Error Codes

The display may show a flashing error code when the controller system detects a fault. The error code is a starting point for inspection, not automatic proof that the LCD display itself is defective.

Error Code Manual Definition First Checks
01_info Throttle abnormality Check whether the throttle is stuck, damaged, incorrectly connected, or activated during startup.
03_info Motor Hall signal abnormality Check the motor Hall connector, wiring, damaged pins, water entry, and motor-controller connection.
04_info Torque sensor signal abnormality Check the torque sensor, connector, cable, and matching sensor setting.
05_info Axle speed sensor abnormality Check sensor alignment, magnet position, connector, and sensor cable.
06_info Motor or controller short-circuit abnormality Stop using the bike and inspect the motor, controller, phase wires, connectors, and damaged insulation before reconnecting power.

Quick Troubleshooting

Symptom Possible Cause What to Check First
Display does not turn on No controller power, loose connector, wrong connector version, damaged cable, or incompatible controller. Turn off the battery, inspect the connector and pins, confirm controller power and verify that the system is KT-compatible.
Speed or distance is incorrect Incorrect wheel diameter, P2 value, sensor signal or motor parameter. Compare the current settings with the original bike configuration.
Battery bars appear inaccurate Incorrect voltage recognition, P5 battery monitoring value, battery condition or controller mismatch. Check actual battery voltage and confirm the display, controller and battery system are correctly matched.
Throttle does not work Throttle setting, startup mode, connector, throttle fault or controller incompatibility. Check the throttle connector and the relevant P and C parameter settings.
PAS does not work correctly Incorrect PAS sensor type, magnet direction, sensor gap or parameter selection. Inspect the PAS sensor installation and compare the C1 and assist-related settings with the original setup.
Headlight icon appears but light stays off The controller or wiring harness does not provide a compatible lighting output. Check the controller light output and wiring rather than replacing the display first.

Before You Order a KT-LCD10H Replacement Display

  • Confirm the controller is a compatible KT series controller.
  • Choose the exact connector version: 5-pin SM or 5-pin waterproof.
  • For the waterproof option, confirm whether your system uses a compatible 1T4 waterproof cable.
  • Compare the connector shape, pin count, cable length and mounting bracket with your original display.
  • Record all original display parameters before disconnecting the old display.
  • Do not assume a display is compatible only because the voltage and connector look similar.
  • The display does not include a controller, throttle, PAS sensor, motor or complete wiring harness unless clearly shown on the product page.

KT-LCD10H User Manual FAQ

No. The voltage must match, but the display also needs a compatible KT controller, communication protocol, connector and wiring system.
They use different connector systems. The SM version uses a 5-pin SM plug. The waterproof version uses a 5-pin waterproof connector and may require a compatible 1T4 waterproof cable.
Turn on the display and, within approximately five seconds, press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons together for about two seconds. Record the original settings before changing anything.
Not safely unless the motor, controller, sensor, battery and wiring configuration are the same. Incorrect values can cause inaccurate readings or abnormal riding behavior.
Not necessarily. Most error codes identify a problem detected elsewhere in the electrical system, such as the throttle, motor Hall sensor, torque sensor, speed sensor, motor or controller wiring.
The manual describes parameter copying between the same LCD10H display model using a special cable. It is not a general method for copying settings to a different display model.
