Note: The e-brake plugs on the 1T5 cable for this page’s products are 2-pin type.

Important Notes Before Purchasing an Ebike Controller

1. Confirm Brake Connector Type

   • Standard kits are equipped with a 1T5 cable with a 3-pin male brake plug.

   • But some electric bikes require a 2-pin female brake plug; please check and choose the right one before purchasing

     

2. Battery Connector

   • Default connector: XT60. For other connector types, please leave a note when ordering

   • 

3. Motor Connector Size

   • Verify the motor plug diameter before ordering to ensure compatibility.

   • For example, the 30A 1000W controller uses a big 9-pin plug (Ø19.2mm).

   • 

4. Headlight Power Limit

   • Controllers with a 3MO waterproof headlight module support a maximum light power of 7.5W.

   • Exceeding this limit will cause the headlight function to fail.

   • 

5. Voltage & Power Match

   • Ensure the controller’s working voltage matches your battery voltage (24V / 36V / 48V / 52V).

   • Select a controller that matches your motor’s power rating:

     • 17A: 250–350W

     • 26A: 500–750W

     • 30A: 1000W

     • 40A/45A: 2000W

6. Hall & Non-Hall Motor Compatibility

   • All controllers are compatible with both Hall sensor and sensorless motors, but wiring must be correct.

7. Learning Function

   • Use the learning wire to set the motor’s forward/reverse direction before final installation.

8. Waterproof Design Precautions

   • These controllers are designed to be water-resistant, not fully waterproof.

   • Avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure washing.

9. Display Compatibility

   • To avoid compatibility issues, purchase the controller and display together.

   • For NFC models (e.g., S966-NFC), ensure your phone supports NFC if you wish to use the keyless start/lock feature.

10. Cable Length & Routing

    • Standard 1T5 cable length: 1500mm (Julet brand).

    • Display cable length: approx. 20cm (waterproof plug).

    • Arrange wiring carefully to avoid pulling or crushing cables.
